The goal is to spread the use and installation of VPN services on premises, meaning on physically located or dedicated servers in feminist spaces and collectives. The writing material inform of reliable VPN services provided by non profit organizations and other tech activists rather than purchasing commercial VPN services, which are either costly, or the inexpensive options out there do not comply with best practices - e.x they tend to use the same certificates for a bulk of users, pass-phrases posted on websites -. The educational material created during the six months funding period are published in the public domain and aim to serve as resources for other activists and autonomous spaces to organize workshops and circulate the knowledge. The systerserver.net hosts the git repository of the project which is available to everyone to work on translations and share the material.
